The first release in 2026 brings the latest kernel with extended support – Linux 6.18 LTS.
An ISO image of the slightly older LTS kernel – Linux 6.6 – is also available.
The January ISO was built based on the latest packages currently available (Jan 14) in the stable branch.

Some suggestions for Mabox:
= create an edition with security similar to Qube but with a GUI and easy setup procedures
= Include, as default the virtual box system.
I made a small donation to Mabox last year. Then I switched to UltraMarine (to have been for less time than it has been). The problems I had with Mabox was the volume.
I want to go back to the Arch group, this time likely to CachyOS (which appealed a lot to me since I first read about it before I tried MaBox. I hope that they will create a high secure edition similar to Qube.
The desktop of Mabox is the most appealing to me.
I have not tried all desktops and am very interested in KDE and Cosmic. The latter is currently too new.
